We have an exciting client with job opening that is looking to add a skilled Technical Support Specialist to their team to help support internal users in their corporate environment. We are seeking someone with excellent customer service skills, well-versed in Windows, O365, Active Directory and other end user technologies. In this role, you will help provide L1 & L2 support that could involve both project and operational work to include things like connectivity/networking, printer support and potentially application provisioning/deployment and set-up for cloud based apps.

We are seeking someone with a strong IT fundamentals background with ambitions to learn and grow.

This will be structured as either a contract-to-hire or a full-time, direct hire role with our client that will be mostly on-site in Downtown Cleveland. Target salary for the role will be somewhere between $45,000 - $63,000 per year + bonus and includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k match and other benefits.

Job Responsibilities for the Technical Support Specialist:

  • Provide end-user support in an environment structured around phone support, off-phone tasks, project involvement, and training and development.
  • Deliver remote support using industry-standard tools to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles, incident categorizations, and virtual agent content within Service Now.
  • Provide extensive hardware and software support for Windows 11, iOS, Android, Lenovo, Mac OS, and Office 365 in conjunction with tools like Dell Tech Direct.
  • Utilize Service Now for full lifecycle management of Incidents and Requests, ensuring thorough documentation and knowledge sharing.

Job Qualifications for the Technical Support Specialist:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a service desk environment providing technical support to end-users.
  • Experience supporting Windows OS and Microsoft end-user technologies like O365, Active Directory and others.
  • Some experience supporting corporate networks and user connectivity
  • Experience working with a corporate IT ticketing system like Service Now, Remedy, Zendesk or similar

Employment Type:

6-month contract to hire or direct hire

Compensation: $45,000 - $63,000 per year + bonus
