Title

Configuration Center – Project Lead

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining MCPC’s high quality standards across the Configuration department while consistently meeting Service Level Agreements with clients and Service Level Objectives set by MCPC. The incumbent serves as the first point of contact for a section of the department and the primary escalation point for issues related to equipment, orders, processes, or technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Identify issues or inconsistencies with devices, tickets, orders, decision matrices, or communications.
  • Communicate promptly with various departments at MCPC and with client personnel to resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with Configuration Center Leadership to pursue continuous improvement within the department.
  • Oversee Service Boards associated with the department, ensuring tickets and workflow are tracked and updated accurately.
  • Provide guidance and support to technicians for escalated problems.
  • Manage the flow of orders entering and leaving the department and perform audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer devices into MCPC’s Life Cycle Management programs tailored to each customer’s needs.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.
  • Comfortable leading and collaborating with a team.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with demonstrated organization, time‑management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience or relevant training or certifications.
  • At least 6 months of experience leading a team in a professional setting.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • May require standing for long periods of time.
  • Operating a pallet jack.
  • Vision must be adequate under standard lighting conditions.
