Elastic Search - Tech Delivery Manager

Overview

As a Technical Delivery Manager specializing in Elastic Enterprise Search implementation within the retail sector, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful deployment and management of Elastic Enterprise Search to migrate search functionality from SOLR to Elastic within client retail ecosystem. Your role will involve leading a team of engineers, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless integration of Elastic Search to meet business objectives.

• Project Management:
  Lead the end-to-end implementation of Elastic Search implementation project within the client's retail environment, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Technical Expertise:
  Demonstrate deep understanding and hands-on experience with Elastic's enterprise Search solution, including configuration, indexing, queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Team Leadership:
  Manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and data scientists, to understand requirements and align Elastic's Search solution with business objectives.
• Solution Design:
  Work closely with architects and engineers to design scalable and efficient Elastic Search solution tailored to the retail domain, considering factors such as product catalog management, inventory optimization, and customer behavior analysis.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  Implement robust monitoring tools and processes to track Elastic Search performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system efficiency.
• Risk Management:
  
  Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with Elastic’s Search solution implementation, ensuring data security, compliance, and disaster recovery measures are in place.
• Documentation and Training:
  Develop comprehensive documentation, best practices, and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective utilization of Elastic Search technology across the organization.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of search and data analytics, leveraging new tools and methodologies to drive innovation and improve business outcomes.

• Experience:
  
  Proven experience (10+ years) in technical project management, with a focus on implementing Elastic Enterprise Search solution within the retail sector.
