QA, IT​/Tech, IT QA Tester ​/ Automation

Title: QA
Location: Cleveland Ohio onsite 3 days a week
Contract-6-12 months

Apex Systems is supporting a fortune 200 company out of Cleveland Ohio with a QA position. The QA Engineer will support the agile project and work closely with stakeholders creating test cases and lead production.

Formal Education & Certification
-Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.

Must Haves
-5+ years IT experience.

-4+ years work experience in the area of software testing/quality assurance.

-3+ years experience in manual test execution

-3+ years experience in automated test creation and execution.

-3+ years experience working with test management tools.

-Proficient in testing software manually; including but not limited to experience-based, context, exploratory, and scenario testing.

-Experience applying testing skills:
Test plan and test case formulation, report creation, defect tracking, and creation of acceptance criteria.

-Demonstrated knowledge and experience using various testing methodologies.

-Exposure to Agile software delivery; acceptance test driven development and/or test driven development preferred.

-Experience testing web applications in desktop and mobile browsers/devices preferred.

- Experience with Agile development and release practices preferred.

-Exposure to version control preferred.

-Exposure to SQL preferred
