MIM Software's Dev Sec Ops team manages the software development lifecycle (SDLC) services used to produce commercial software products. As a Dev Ops Engineer Intern, you'll help maintain and administer this infrastructure while gaining hands‑on experience with modern Dev Ops practices.
You'll automate system configuration, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot problems using our suite of Dev Ops tools. This internship provides practical experience with infrastructure code tools such as Ansible, Open Tofu, and Git Lab CI to build cloud‑native IT systems that support next‑generation software product delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Create Ansible playbooks to perform basic system automation tasks
- Use Git Lab CI to test infrastructure code and write tests
- Assist with system maintenance
- Work closely with experienced Dev Sec Ops team members, including a personal mentor
- Learn about Dev Ops principles in an industry environment
- Learn about how Dev Ops practices can streamline work inside and outside engineering
Looking for candidates with a foundation in technical concepts and strong problem‑solving abilities.
What You'll Need:
- Working knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
- Some experience writing code (in a programming language or infrastructure code) in coursework, projects, or previous internships
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree - preferably in a computer science-related discipline – or equivalent experience
- General problem‑solving skills
- Strong analytical thinking
- Communication and organization skills
