Mainframe Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional
Skills:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into mainframe technical designs.
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
- Perform enhancements, bug fixes, and production support for existing systems.
- Work on batch and online (CICS) processing.
- Debug and resolve abends and system issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (testing, business analysts, distributed teams).
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to coding standards.
- Support system integration across platforms (e.g., APIs, distributed systems).
- Assist in migration, modernization, or system upgrade initiatives.
Role
Summary:
- We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications running on mainframe systems.
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related mainframe technologies, with the ability to analyze business requirements and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
