As an Associate Release Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburg, PA, Birmingham, AL, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AR.

Job Description

This individual will help with release management in the Security and Authorization banking space, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of complex technology releases. They will work closely with multiple agile crews to ensure releases are well‑planned, de‑conflicted, and ready for production.

  • Plan and coordinate technology releases and changes across the enterprise for multiple applications and various portfolio streams.
  • Lead partnership with various teams to build release schedule and project plan/milestones for an application and/or project.
  • Ensure quality checks on change releases to ensure processes follow enterprise standards, guidelines and best practices.
  • Create and maintain deployment plan success guides within segments and projects ahead of release execution.
  • Provide guidance to cross‑functional teams during change management and release projects.
  • Run standard reports across lines of businesses, segments and applications and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
  • Execute change management processes appropriately.
  • Document release management process improvement opportunities and ensure proper escalation as needed.

  • Competencies:

    Agile Development, Application Delivery Process, Configuration Management, Effective Communications, IT Environment, IT Governance, Software Development Life Cycle, Software Release Management, System and Technology Integration.
  • Work Experience:

    Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree.
  • Certifications:

  • Pay Transparency:
    Base Salary $75,000.00 – $ (may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
