Reports To: VP and CIO - ITS
Work Schedule: Flexible within the Standard College
Hours:
M-F, 8:30am-5pm

SummaryInterns will work with their supervisors and other members of the Information Technology Services (ITS) team to complete tasks. They may assist with project management, system administration, networking, or end‑user support efforts. These experiences will help prepare students for future information technology roles by increasing their skills in problem solving, communication, teamwork, and leadership.
Essential Functions- Assist with coordinating and scheduling meetings to keep teams on track
- Identify next steps and potential roadblocks as projects move forward
- Research best practices and help to implement recommendations from vendor partners
- Assist with preparing documentation
- Hands‑on configuration of information systems
- Leverage end‑user and team feedback to recommend process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Current student attending Tri‑C with an interest in information technology

- The work is performed in a normal, professional environment;
- The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated;
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. While at events, there will be walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.;
- Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
