Role:
Associate Consulting Manager, Intercompany (Blackline)
Location:
- Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL;
Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely. - Office Options:
Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules. - Travel Expectations:
Up to 50%
What you'll do
- Client Engagement & Problem Solving:
Serve as the day-to-day client lead, building stakeholder relationships, facilitating discussions, and addressing business challenges. - Engagement Delivery & Execution Ownership:
Lead workstream execution, manage plans and milestones, identify risks, and ensure successful delivery. - People Leadership (Clearsulting Team):
Coach and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, supporting development, accountability, and team success. - Solution Design & Technical Execution:
Lead the design and implementation of intercompany process and technology solutions aligned with client needs. - Functional & Process Improvement:
Assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help define future-state operating models. - Commercial & Practice Contribution:
Support business development, practice initiatives, knowledge sharing, and engagement financial management. - AI Strategy & Innovation:
Leverage AI and automation to improve delivery, develop reusable solutions, and drive continuous innovation.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a business-related field of study
- 4–6+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting or industry, preferably supporting complex or global organizations
- Experience with intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, or financial process design and transformation
- Experience supporting or leading implementations of tools such as Black Line, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar technologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage work streams, including planning, execution, and risk management
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data validation, testing, and issue resolution
- Emerging leadership experience, including mentoring or guiding junior team members
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to clients
- Willingness and ability to travel

Nice-to-Haves
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress toward certification
- Black Line, Alteryx, Fabric, or similar technology certifications
- Experience with end-to-end intercompany processing, including allocations, matching, reconciliation, settlement, and reporting
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, including process redesign and implementation
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP S/4
HANA, Oracle, or similar platforms - Understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing cycles
- Experience contributing to business development or internal practice initiatives
