Senior Dev Ops Engineer

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland seeks a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our enterprise shared service team. In this role you will provide advanced Dev Ops tooling and solutions to support development, operations, and business users across the enterprise, working closely with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes, enhance automation, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure and services.

• Design, implement, and maintain Dev Ops tooling, infrastructure, and pipelines to support CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to identify and resolve infrastructure and service issues.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Dev Ops tools and infrastructure.
• Develop and support AI solutions to improve developer productivity.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders on Dev Ops best practices.
• Contribute to the development of standards, policies, and procedures for Dev Ops within the enterprise.
• Work with business users to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
• Ensure the security and compliance of Dev Ops tools and processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to provide support for critical incidents and issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our Dev Ops practices.

• Associate’s degree and 5 years of related work experience, OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related work experience, OR Master’s degree and 0–1 year of related work experience.

• Proven track record of implementing and managing Dev Ops practices in a large‑scale enterprise environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Lab), configuration management, containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation), monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Open Search), and scripting languages (Python, Go).
• Familiarity with AI models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT) and associated tools (Claude Code, Codex).
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and Atlassian suite is a plus.
• Understanding of security practices and compliance requirements in a Dev Ops environment.

Starting salary range for the Dev Ops Engineer is $90,500–$113,100 annually; for the Senior Dev Ops Engineer it is $111,400–$139,200 annually.
