Key Bank's Enterprise Analyst Program is a multi-week training program. For those still in college, the program facilitates the transition from college to a full-time career program provides opportunities to learn about Key's business and strategic pillars, learn about Key's industry-leading employee benefits, engage in exciting networking events with Analysts across various teams, hear from members of the Executive Leadership Team, and receive relevant training ahead of starting in a full-time role.
At the conclusion of the multi-week training program, Analysts will enter their Line of Business to begin working with their respective teams where they either begin a rotational program within their group or begin working in their full-time role. Continued development beyond the program is provided through mentorship opportunities with teammates across various levels of the organization that will provide an environment for shared learning and advice, encourage professional development, and assist in the development of career aspirations and goals.
Analytics & Quantitative Modeling at Key Bank is a cross-functional collective of program areas with the shared goal to use data, analytics, and quantitative models to meaningfully impact business performance by identifying solutions which lead to more effective risk management, more profitable business decisions, more meaningful client and employee engagements, and more proactive management of credit relationships.
Key Bank's Analytics & Quantitative Modeling Internship Program is designed to develop analytical and quantitative professionals through training, work experiences, and cross-functional exposure. The Rotational Analyst Program starts in the Summer of 2024 and is based at one of our area locations in Cleveland, Ohio. Rotations will begin upon completion of the foundational training, and continue for 12 months, each rotation being 6 months in length.
Upon completion of the rotational program, participating analysts who meet performance expectations will be placed into full time roles in Analytics & Quantitative Modeling (based on availability). Please note that this position requires you to be onsite in Cleveland for the entirety of the program.

- Model Risk
- Market Risk
- Client & Employee Experience
- Commercial Analytics
- Fraud Analytics
- Credit Portfolio Management
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform data analysis, research, and draw business and financial insights through analysis with integrity and accuracy
- Effectively and concisely communicate findings and recommendations for senior management, including effective data visualizations and insights.
- Aptitude for problem solving using analytical and mathematical techniques across a broad spectrum of business and risk management areas
- Conduct and leverage market and industry research for peer analytics and strategy.
- Develop and support reporting functions for financial, regulatory, and business intelligence requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must obtain a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2027 or December 2026 with focused coursework in mathematics, statistics, engineering, finance, economics, computer science, business analytics, data science, or other quantitative fields of study.
- Prior internship experience preferred within the field
- Outstanding academic achievement (minimum 3.5 GPA)
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning approaches, and/or data mining concepts
- Basic understanding of AI concepts and exposure to AI/ML tools or techniques (e.g., data analysis or simple models)
- Preferred exposure to programming for data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization (SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, and others as appropriate)
Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a salary of $75k for students pursuing undergraduate degrees and $85k for students pursuing graduate degrees. Compensation also includes a $5,000.00 Summer Sign-on Bonus.
