Director of Information Technology

Destination Cleveland seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead technology strategy and operations that power our marketing, sales, and visitor experience efforts. This role oversees infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, data and analytics, CRM and marketing technologies, and user support. The Director will modernize systems, manage vendors and budgets, and ensure reliable, secure platforms that enable storytelling, partnership, and growth. Working cross-functionally, this leader will align IT with organizational goals, champion innovation, and support a collaborative, mission-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with Destination Cleveland's mission and goals
• Oversee infrastructure, cloud services, systems, and cybersecurity to ensure reliability and protection
• Lead data, analytics, CRM, and marketing technology platforms to support marketing and sales
• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and vendor/contract relationships
• Establish IT governance, standards, and best practices for security and compliance
• Direct and mentor IT team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth
• Partner with leaders across the organization to identify and deliver technology solutions
• Drive digital innovation to enhance visitor, partner, and staff experience
• Ensure effective help desk and user support services
• Plan and manage technology projects, implementations, and change management efforts
