Corporate Legal Assistant

We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected Cleveland law firm that is adding to its Business & Corporate Law team. This position supports attorneys handling transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, and ongoing corporate filings.

• Prepare and revise contracts, closing documents, and client correspondence
• Coordinate transaction closings, including tracking signatures and managing timelines
• Maintain corporate records and entity documentation
• Oversee Docu Sign workflows, closing binders, and organizational charts
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and third parties throughout transactions
• Manage attorney calendars, time entry, and general administrative tasks

• Prior experience supporting business, corporate, or transactional attorneys
• Hands‑on involvement with mergers, acquisitions, formations, or corporate filings
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic document systems
• Experience with Docu Sign and legal document management platforms
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
• Clear communicator who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
