Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented attorney to join our Cleveland legal team as a Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Associate Attorney
. This role provides the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and engage with complex legal matters, offering strategic solutions to clients from case inception through trial preparation and execution.
- Manage day-to-day activities and strategy for bankruptcy and creditors’ rights cases
- Oversee cases through all phases, including discovery, motions, and trial prep
- Participate in depositions, settlement conferences, and court hearings
- Draft motions, discovery responses, and comprehensive client reports
- Contribute to trial preparation, including strategy development and preparing clients and witnesses
- 3 to 7 years of experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law
- Strong deposition experience (taking and defending)
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
