Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team in Cleveland. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling commercial litigation matters and will be eager to assume meaningful responsibility in a supportive, fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and develop litigation skills in a variety of cases at a firm specializing in Business Law & Litigation.
Key Responsibilities- Represent clients in commercial litigation, including business litigation, finance, construction, bankruptcy, insurance coverage, class action, securities, product liability and more.
- Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through discovery, motions, hearings, and trial.
- Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Provide strategic advice and risk assessments to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve efficient and favorable case outcomes.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Ohio Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial litigation experience.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting deadlines.
