A nationally recognized litigation practice based in Cleveland is seeking a 4–6 year associate with experience in complex commercial disputes, particularly construction and real estate litigation. This role offers hands-on involvement in high-stakes matters across multiple jurisdictions and direct collaboration with experienced trial lawyers.
Responsibilities include:
- Representing contractors, owners, developers, lenders, and sureties in commercial and construction disputes
- Managing all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial/arbitration preparation
- Handling matters involving construction defects, delay claims, bond claims, mechanic’s liens, competitive bid disputes, and related contract issues
- Supporting mediation, arbitration, and risk mitigation strategies
