To support the supply chain team in the daily tasks of completing a customer order request from beginning to end. To assist with projects relating to customer service, demand planning, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
This is a 1st Shift position.
What You’ll Be DoingResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Track inventory levels and manage stock to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
- Release purchase orders from established suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Analyze and resolve blocked invoices to increase prompt accounts payable to suppliers.
- Release production orders in response to low inventory and customer requirements.
- Process inventory-related transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist Customer Service with order updates for past due and expedited orders. - Support the Key Performance Indicators of On-time delivery, Days of Inventory, Past due reduction, Contribution Margin and freight cost reduction.
- Vacation coverage as needed.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management.
- This position requires the use of information or access to technology which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR. ITAR/EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Experience of PC tools including internet, email, MS Office and scanning.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Topics.
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
- Provide excellent customer service internal and external.
- Ability to resolve problems and leverage resources.
- Strong ability to multi-task and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Professional communication skills.
