We are looking for a Spare Parts & Demand Planning Manager to play a key role in ensuring material availability and supporting operational excellence across a global industrial environment.
Your missionYou will be responsible for ensuring material availability for current customer orders and future demand, acting as a critical interface between multiple functions (Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Production, Service & Supply Chain).
You will support operations across multiple production sites, global warehouses, and international customers, with a direct impact on customer satisfaction and equipment uptime.
Key responsibilities- Backlog & Operations Management
- Analyze order backlog and associated BOM requirements
- Secure material availability for customer orders
- Anticipate shortages, risks, and delivery constraints
- Prioritize orders based on business impact and customer commitments
- Drive cross-functional issue resolution
- Demand Planning & Inventory
- Support demand forecasting based on data and installed base
- Optimize inventory levels and service performance
- Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory turns
- Spare Parts & Lifecycle Management
- Define and manage inventory & safety stock strategies across warehouses
- Reduce obsolescence and complexity
- Support standardization and part rationalization initiatives
- Manage part lifecycle (changes, substitutions, EOL, last-time buy)
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Sales, and Service teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical mindset & data-driven decision making
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams in a global environment
- Solid experience in supply chain, planning, or operations
- Customer-oriented with understanding of equipment uptime challenges
- Advanced Excel
- ERP system knowledge
- Power BI / data analysis tools
- Experience in forecasting & inventory optimization
