Title: Operations and Support Specialist
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 annually, plus bonus, dependent on experience
Operations and Support Specialist RoleOur client is seeking an Operations and Support Specialist to streamline daily business workflows and elevate customer satisfaction. This pivotal role exists to manage the end-to-end logistics process and bridge the gap between production and external clients, ensuring orders process accurately, shipping runs smoothly, and client inquiries receive rapid, expert resolution.
Responsibilities- Manage daily client inquiries and provide order support via email and phone
- Coordinate directly with production teams to track order status and guarantee on-time delivery
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately within the system
- Resolve client issues and shipping discrepancies with a high level of urgency and professionalism
- Own the logistics process by coordinating incoming and outgoing freight schedules with carriers
- Maintain and update accurate client records, pricing matrices, and shipping documentation
- Generate weekly operational reports tracking logistics performance and order volumes
- Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate smooth onboarding for new client accounts
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics and administrative workflows
The Operations and Support Specialist reports directly to the Operations Manager and has no direct reports.
About You- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or possess equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in ERP software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored for client and carrier interaction
- Exhibit superior problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under tight shipping deadlines
- Display a proven track record of managing end-to-end logistics and operational priorities simultaneously
- Bring experience working within a manufacturing, tooling, or distribution environment
- Show a strong internal drive to improve supply chain efficiency and team collaboration
- Maintain a sharp eye for administrative data accuracy and detail-oriented record keeping
