Procurement Manager - Adhesives, Films, or Lables

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Procurement Manager search in the Cleveland, OH area.

• Leverage expertise in data mining, analysis, and reporting to enhance procurement processes and bolster financial forecasting initiatives.
• Lead cyclical sourcing activities, including mid-contract negotiations and vendor/subcontract sourcing for Requests for Quotes (RFQs), ensuring competitive pricing and optimal supplier selection.
• Develop and implement cost‑saving projects while spearheading continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing the cost of goods sold.
• Manage key supplier relationships by ensuring timely communication and promptly addressing performance issues to achieve inventory and supply chain objectives.
• Oversee an inventory stocking program that enhances supply security and reduces lead times for customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and finance, to align procurement strategies with revenue goals and overall business objectives.

• Proven experience in international sourcing and purchasing within a manufacturing environment, particularly in the adhesives, tapes, films, or labels sectors.
• Experience with CRM software
• Experience with supplier evaluations
• Experience leading and developing a team
