Logistics Technician, Staff
As a Logistics Technician you will be responsible for the execution and coordination of logistics tasks related to the movement, control and tracking of materials and equipment.
Location:
Middleburgh Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)
Hourly: $ 19.09 - $25.43

Your Challenge:
- Executes and coordinates the flow of inbound and outbound shipments. Identifies potential improvement in logistic workflows and cost savings and participates in Lean or continuous improvement initiatives. (20%)
- Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls. Creates required export documentation to support international orders. (20%)
- Performs data entry by accurately documenting material movements and logistics records in the inventory management system. Manages load utilization. Coordinates the distribution point of material for incoming and outgoing materials. (20%)
- Coordinates common carrier activities. Maintains customer database and profile by customer location. Maintains customer delivery time windows. (20%)
- Communicates effectively with procurement, manufacturing, engineering and quality to support on-time material availability. Reports shortages or delays that may impact production schedules. (20%)
What You Bring:
- Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of import/export compliance.
- Proficient with ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Prioritizes tasks and organizes work to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
