Field Service Technician – State Industrial Products

State Cleaning Solutions, a division of State Industrial Products, is a rapidly growing sales and service provider that designs, implements, and maintains cleaning and sanitization programs for the hospitality and healthcare marketplace. We serve restaurants, hotels, care homes, and institutions, supplying equipment and chemicals and supporting our programs with a 24/7 service network.

After completing an initial training program, the successful candidate will be assigned to an existing territory of restaurants, hotels, long‑term care facilities, and more. Acting as the “Face of State” for your customers, you will provide recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs to create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments and drive a positive guest experience. You will report to the Route Supervisor and, as you grow in the role, be responsible for sales retention, preventative maintenance, installations, route completion, and collections for your assigned territory.

• Provide preventative maintenance to customer equipment.
• Service customer equipment using mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
• Manage account retention within the core business of the territory.
• Complete necessary paperwork to fulfill position responsibilities.
• Meet or exceed routing and preventative maintenance service standards on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with customers in the assigned territory for repeat business.
• Identify program gaps to introduce innovative solutions that create unique value and build sales.

• Previous experience in mechanical repair.
• Mechanical aptitude to install, fix, and maintain dish machines, laundry, and housekeeping dispenser equipment.
• Ability to solve a wide range of complex, multi‑disciplinary problems while considering short‑ and intermediate‑term impact.
• Skill in troubleshooting broken equipment to find a resolution.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requirement for local-market-area travel using a company vehicle and holding a valid driver’s license.

Cleveland, OH – Salary range: $46,300 – $69,500 per year.
