As a cleaner, the responsibility is to keep the premises of the building in clean and orderly condition. Duties can be performed collectively, or a team member could perform just one duty in a building.

• Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces and trim.
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Buff floors in some facilities as needed.
• Clean rugs and mats.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels and sills.
• Empty trash and transport it to the correct disposal area.
