Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the highest standards of facility and equipment performance. This is a critical leadership role that drives operational excellence, safety, and reliability across our organization.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Technical Leadership Plan, coordinate, and oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and minimize production disruptions.

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.

Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage preventive maintenance, work orders, asset history, inventory, and maintenance performance metrics.

Assist in developing a moving 3-year Maintenance, Facilities and Equipment plan

Team Management Ability to develop technical teams, build organizational capability, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, engineers, and maintenance technicians.

Schedule and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure 24/7 operational coverage where required.

Budget & Resource Management Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, controlling costs while maintaining quality.

Oversee procurement of spare parts, tools, and contractor services.

Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or performance.

Safety & Compliance Be actively engaged in Safety; lead by example and ensure compliance with both company and regulatory safety standards and requirements for facilities and equipment.

Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements, including Management of Change (MOC), asset integrity, incident investigations, operating procedures, and participation in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) activities as required.

Champion a safety-first culture and enforce proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Continuous Improvement Implement reliability-centered maintenance programs and driving continuous improvement through maintenance KPIs, equipment performance metrics, and asset management strategies – OEE, MTTR, MTBF.Drive Lean, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency.

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on capital improvement projects.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field

5–10 years in maintenance, with 3+ years in a leadership role Without

10-15 years in maintenance, with 5+ years in a leadership role Technical knowledge on the following systems and equipment: PLCs, CMMS, Boilers, Chillers, Cooling towers, Thermal oxidizers, Dust collection systems, Solvent recovery systems, Fire protection systems, Nitrogen systems, Bulk storage and transfer systems, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

The salary for this position is $130,000 to $150,000.
