Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Elford is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex healthcare projects in the Cleveland market.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience delivering work in active hospital and clinical environments — a PM who understands financial ownership, structured planning, and disciplined execution in highly regulated settings. This is a leadership role with full accountability from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll drive strategy, manage risk, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while partnering closely with field leadership and client stakeholders.
WhatYou’ll Lead
- Full lifecycle delivery of complex healthcare projects from preconstruction through final turnover
- Strategic budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial accountability
- Preconstruction planning, logistics strategy, and phasing development in occupied facilities
- Oversight of ICRA, interim life safety measures, and regulatory compliance
- Subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, and contract negotiation
- Executive-level communication with hospital leadership, facilities teams, architects, and engineers
- Risk identification and mitigation planning at both project and program levels
- Alignment between field leadership, project management staff, and trade partners
- Structured, disciplined project closeout with complete documentation and turnover
- 8+ years of construction project management experience
- Proven track record delivering healthcare projects in occupied environments
- Strong financial ownership and history of managing large project budgets
- Experience mentoring PMs or supporting team development
- Ability to manage large, complex scopes or multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of scheduling and cost control tools such as Procore, P6, or MS Project
- Executive presence and strong decision-making capability
