In this role you will oversee the Slot Performance Division and support the overall safety, security and performance of the gaming floor. Your responsibilities will include staffing, operations, maintenance, customer service, compliance with Ohio regulations and continuous improvement of slot procedures.

- Work as a change agent, challenging departmental processes to improve and streamline operations through continuous assessment of policies, procedures, work processes and program effectiveness.
- Demonstrate excellent facilitation skills in resolving conflicts between different points of view.
- Determine a vision, align and inspire the team to achieve that vision.
- Partner and coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment with well‑trained, motivated employees.
- Embrace, role‑model and implement all elements of the customer service program, including Spotlight on Success, Buzz Sessions and tier‑prioritized service.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction.
- Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of JACK Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment.
- Serve as verifier for jackpot payout and credit‑owed procedures.
- Maintain staffing efficiency in the Slot Performance Division through interviewing, selecting, hiring, training, scheduling, developing, rewarding, disciplining and recommending promotions and terminations as necessary.
- Assign responsibilities to Slot Performance Supervisor on each shift and ensure duties are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, internal controls and Ohio Casino Control Commission rules and regulations.
- Plan and coordinate special projects and assign project team duties.
- Maintain a good working relationship with vendors to acquire prompt technical support and new product information.
- Train Slot Performance Supervisors and provide guidance and assistance with career development.
- Ensure all slot maintenance, repairs, relations, set‑ups and break‑downs are handled promptly and efficiently.
- Verify the accuracy of letters to the Ohio Casino Control Commission regarding gaming approvals before mailing.
- Maintain an accurate count of slot machines on the gaming floor and match unit licensing information.
- Enforce company policies, procedures and performance standards.
- Ensure accurate completion of daily reports.
- Notify the Director of Slot Operations of pertinent issues as needed.
- Maintain slot floor security and notify department management of any suspicious activity.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws (federal, state, local) and attendant regulations, as well as company internal controls.
- Maintain knowledge of all games to perform repairs and/or preventative maintenance.
- Develop, implement and review slot product and processes.
- Ensure integrity and product reliability.
- Conduct effective analysis and reporting on slot products to maximize revenue and protect company assets.
- Monitors and maintains the total logistic requirements of an effective slot repair operation, always anticipating today’s and tomorrow’s needs.
- Work independently.
- Sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
- Act as a role model to other employees and lead by example.
- Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
- Respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
- Navigate all areas of the property and from floor to floor via stairways (minimum 20 steps) or escalator.
