Controller, Management, Financial Manager

A growing professional services organization is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting operations during a dynamic period of post‑merger integration and modernization.

In this role, you will oversee all core accounting functions (GL, AP/AR, treasury, reconciliations, cash flow, and financial controls) while leading a team of 5 direct and 2 indirect reports. The environment is evolving, with active process cleanup and system alignment underway, so the ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, bringing structure to complexity, and driving continuous improvement.

• Lead and develop a multi‑level accounting team
• Oversee GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, treasury, and month‑end close
• Manage cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
• Strengthen internal controls and optimize processes
• Partner with senior leadership on integration and strategic initiatives
• Bring clarity and structure to an environment with some cleanup needs

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior team leadership required
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
