About the Role (Assistant Dispensary Manager)The Assistant Dispensary Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary by overseeing and directing all day‑to‑day operations, including oversight of Lead Dispensary Agents, Dispensary Agents, Retail Inventory Leads, and Security Guards. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a problem‑solving attitude, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and management abilities, and solid administrative/clerical and time management skills.
Howyou’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities)
- Assist with physical inventory tasks (order fulfillment, delivery intake, monitoring aging inventory, destruction oversight, reconciliations, inventory discrepancies)
- Authorize product returns
- Assist with product recall processes
- Assist with promotion development
- Manage daily menu based on current inventory
- Assist the Dispensary Manager with required daily/monthly audits
- Manage daily sales operations (cash reconciliation, sales reporting, inventory audits)
- Ensure compliance with state guidelines regarding patient interactions/education
- Oversight of vendors and visitors
- Assist with facilitating patient education events
- Resolve patient concerns/requests
- Assist with staff conflict coaching
- Assist with employee scheduling, recruiting, and onboarding
- Follow up on general building maintenance

Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications)- Associate's degree or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- 1–2 years of previous management experience
- Cash management and inventory control skills
- Familiarity with varieties of medical marijuana (preferred)
- Computer skills necessary for running day‑to‑day operations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
- Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate proactivity, flexibility, adaptability, and multi‑tasking
- Must be 21 years old and in compliance with federal law
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification form upon hire
- Must complete a State/Federal background check and fingerprinting
