Job Description

Supervises the team that monitors and reviews the sales practice activities of Financial Advisors on a centralized and regional level, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Has knowledge across multiple products to aid in leading departmental and firm‑wide projects. Acts as an SME and leads/mentors the team in escalated reviews and more complex cases. Works closely with the Supervision Group Manager, Director of Supervision, and other Team Leaders.

Collaborates with business partners—including Operations, Regional Supervision, Financial Advisors, Sales Management and Support Staff, Compliance, Legal and Risk—to assist with escalations and urgent issues both within and outside of their normal scope of work. Partners on firm‑wide initiatives, new product rollouts, and product enhancements. Supervises the team and collaborates with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Product and other partners to resolve complex matters.

Exhibits conviction and willingness to voice opinions to achieve effective results. Manages risk and makes sound decisions by providing coaching and guidance to the team and Financial Advisors on policies, procedures, industry regulations, financial service products, investment practices and documentation to promote risk awareness and a compliant environment. Supports the Firm’s business objectives and contributes to profitability by influencing Financial Advisors business practices to minimize regulatory and financial risk and uphold the Firm’s reputation.

Uses critical thinking and decision‑making skills to assist in supervisory responsibilities, following proper procedures and compliance policies in a timely and appropriate manner. Develops team knowledge through projects, inspires engagement, promotes internal mobility with regular feedback, coaches and mentors others. Responsible for proactive client contact when needed to determine suitability of escalated business and manage risk. Serves as an SME on products and processes for Level 2 reviews and projects, leading defined work or projects to completion.
