Executive Director

Mackenzie Stuart have been engaged by a leading Senior Living operator to lead a confidential search for a Cleveland-based Executive Director to manage a well-established senior living community. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of building strong teams, driving occupancy, and maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and service.

• Lead all aspects of community operations with a focus on performance and culture
• Drive occupancy growth, resident satisfaction, and family engagement
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control
• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence
• Serve as a visible leader within the community and local market

• Manage day-to-day operations across all departments
• Partner with sales and marketing to support census and revenue growth
• Coach and develop department leaders and frontline teams
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, team members, and referral partners

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare operations
• At least 3+ years of experience as an Executive Director or LNHA
• Proven success managing budgets, occupancy, staffing, and compliance
• Active state licensure or administrator certification required where applicable
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, survey readiness, and resident-centered service
