Senior HR Manager Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training strategies aligned with organizational goals and manufacturing operations.
- Deliver and coordinate trainings needed for technical skills, compliance, and leadership development. Will occasionally be responsible for designing and facilitating trainings unrelated to technical knowledge.
- Determines appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish training goals and objectives.
- Identify individual and group training needs in partnership with managers.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of our company policies, procedures, ISO/AS9100 certification requirements, and training needs.
- Manage training records and ensure accurate documentation of employee certifications and qualifications.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers for training needs, schedules and completion status.
- Owns all aspects of ToolingU training program.
- Submit Tech Cred and other training program grant applications, track progress, manage reimbursement, etc.
- Research various training options, instructors, and content; maintain an organized log of training contacts, resources, and information.
- Monitors training budget and maintain accurate expense records and reports.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using metrics and continuous improvements methods. Present findings and recommendations to management.
- Conducts trainer observations and monitors trainer performance and effectiveness.
- Identify operational changes or industry developments that signal a training opportunity.
- Keep training materials current, accurate, and effective.
- Partner with HR to ensure job descriptions align with training needs and programs.
