LHH is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations for a growing manufacturing facility specializing in metal and copper products
. This on‑site leadership role oversees all plant activities, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
- Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee manufacturing processes involving metalworking, copper forming, machining, and related fabrication operations
. - Drive adherence to ISO standards (ISO 9001 or comparable), ensuring robust quality systems and audit readiness.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance throughput.
- Lead, mentor, and coach cross‑functional teams to build a high‑performance culture.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, EHS, HR, and leadership teams to support business objectives.
- Maintain strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, staffing, training, scheduling, and resource allocation for optimal performance.
- Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions for process or quality issues.
- Support capital equipment planning and successful commissioning of new technology.
- 5+ years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal, copper, or related heavy‑industrial production.
- Proven experience working within ISO‑certified environments
. - Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows such as metal forming, machining, finishing, heat treatment, or metallurgical processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and implement operational best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
