Production Line Leader

Purpose of PositionThe Production Line Lead is responsible for coordinating and guiding daily production activities to ensure operational targets related to safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency are consistently achieved. This role serves as a first‑level leader on the production floor, providing direction, coaching, and real‑time problem solving to support standardized work, maintain workflow continuity, and reinforce compliance with established procedures.
The Production Line Lead acts as a critical link between frontline operators and supervision, promoting accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of teamwork, discipline, and performance excellence. Through effective communication and hands‑on leadership, this role supports the execution of production plans, addresses barriers to productivity, and contributes to the development of a reliable, high‑performing manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce all safety rules and company policies
- Communicate work order priorities to the process team
- Assure that all operations and processes are being performed as intended
- Ensure efficiency and quality in the manufacture and assembly of finished goods
- Assure that all quality checks are being performed
- Assure that each operation or process output meets quality and productivity requirements
- Maintain consistent part flow from one process to the next – as intended
- Assure that proper packaging and labeling methods are being used
- Report daily productivity and waste quantities
- Report incidents of nonconforming product or raw material
- Maintain accurate inventory numbers
- Assist with training and reinforcement of process steps
- Perform routine PM on equipment and machinery as instructed
- Report all machine break‑downs immediately to supervisor and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other activities that support safety, quality and delivery requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated leadership ability or prior supervisory experience
- General ability to perform all of the duties as described above

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Cleveland, OH is $25.98 to $30.00 per hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
