CNC Machinist- SIGN ON BONUS Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC Lathe and milling machinery while adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations. The role involves interpreting drawings and specifications, inspecting products for defects, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC Lathe and milling machinery while upholding production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
- Inspect products for flaws and material defects, including deburring if necessary.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts, and shop orders to plan and verify work.
- Obtain the correct set of tools, select insert types, and ensure tool accuracy.
- Determine proper operation sequences by interpreting drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions.
- Perform necessary calculations for tool depth and adjustments.
- Move completed materials to the next workstation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Proficiency in CNC Lathe operation.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience in quality inspection using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with machine setup.
- Technical school training in CNC.

WorkEnvironment
The position operates on a 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with a $2/hour shift premium. Work in a well‑lit and organized machining manufacturing environment that includes CNC Mills, Lathes, Swiss Machines, and a small assembly area. The facility manufactures actuators, fasteners, and various products for the aerospace and factory solutions industries.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
