Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce a new career opportunity for a dynamic individual in the role of Commissioning Technician. This critical position involves supporting our state‑of‑the‑art Mobile Robotics operations. If you thrive in a hands‑on, industrial setting where precision and quality are paramount, this contract/temporary role may be ideal for you. Please be aware that this is not a remote job position, and the selected candidate will need to be present onsite.
As a Commissioning Technician, you will be a pivotal part of our operations team, tasked with executing installation, modification, and removal of complex robotic systems and infrastructure. This role requires an individual who can handle detailed technical tasks and collaborate effectively to enhance operational efficiency and safety. We provide all necessary training and support, empowering you to excel in a structured and dynamic work environment.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Drill holes into existing surfaces in accordance with engineering specifications, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Install magnets into prepared locations with precision and consistency.
- Apply epoxy materials and finish surfaces to be flush with existing structures and service interfaces.
- Remove detents, legacy systems, and obsolete hardware as required.
- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and vacuum equipment.
- Perform surface preparation, cleanup, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Comply with all Oceaneering Mobile Robotics safety policies, procedures, and site requirements.
- Follow detailed instructions, technical documentation, and quality standards.
- Coordinate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and project personnel.
- Maintain reliable attendance and complete assigned work within scheduled time frames.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support OMR operational objectives.
- Complies with client‑specific operational and safety procedures.
- Prior experience performing hands‑on technical, maintenance, or installation work in an industrial, manufacturing, or operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts consistently.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Will need steel toe boots.
- Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday / 2:30pm - 10:30pm - Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, and work in varied physical positions for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for drilling, tool operation, material handling, and detailed installation work.
- Ability to work in environments that may involve noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to wear job specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
