Operations Intern

Reports To: Cutting Department Area Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)
Employment Type: Internship
Compensation: $17-$19 per hour
Position Overview: To collaborate with the Cutting Department in various projects with the intend to improve Cutting Department efficiency, quality , and safety. The main projects are as follows:

• Identify Order Prep components without part # , compile a list where used in order to be added to BOM
• Scrap usage ( end of roll) to minimize fabric waste and maximize fabric usage
• Analyze Spreading in order to create meaningful reports
• Other projects as assigned

GED or high school diploma required, Higher education preferred

Physical Requirements: This position might require standing for an extended period of time, lifting up to 25lb
