Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cleveland, OH
. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay is $30-32/hr based on experience to start!!
• 1-year Assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday (Onsite 7:00am – 3:30pm)
• This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance procedures, recommends corrective actions that maintain high standards and coordinates activities within a multi-craft organization.
• Aligns mechanical equipment and checks through use of micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
• Reads piping and instrument diagrams (Prints, P&IDs, etc.) and troubleshoots/rebuilds process pumps, including mechanical-seal and air diaphragm pumps.
• Millwright, Machine Repair, and/or welder, capable of fabrication and repair of equipment and associated piping on pressure/process piping and various manufacturing equipment.

• HS Diploma/ GED is required

• 2-3 years of experience working in a general maintenance position in a manufacturing or an industrial environment is required

• 1-2 years of electrical experience in a commercial or industrial environment strongly desired is preferred
  .
• Forklift certification desired
  .
• Technical certification/degree a plus
