Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. This role works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and R&D to troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and improve equipment and processes while upholding quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Support and promote continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

* Diagnose failed machinery - focusing on electrical aspects.

* Enforce quality standards and identify, tag, and assist with disposition of non-conforming materials.

* Troubleshoot and resolve production quality issues.

* Diagnose and repair machines and/or PC boards tagged as non-conforming.

* Support the design, introduction, inspection, and maintenance of new and existing equipment.

* Maintain inspection, test, and quality performance records.

* Initiate CAPA determinations and support yield improvement efforts.

* Perform audits and assist with quality training for production personnel.

* Collaborate cross-functionally on the shop floor and report safety incidents or near misses.

Basic Requirements

* Technician III:
Vocational training with 5+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience.

* Technician IV :

Vocational training with 8+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience.

* May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others.

* Selected candidate's Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experiences.

* Experience with manufacturing quality standards and engineering principles.

* Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

* Proficient with measurement and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).

* Ability to use a digital multimeter (DMM) for electrical measurements.

* Equipment and/or electronics troubleshooting experience preferred.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows OS.

* Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 60 lbs. (on occasion).
