CNC Swiss Machinist (2nd and 3rd Shift) - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 26-00143
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $36.00/HR + $1 Shift Premium - Permanent Position with Benefits
4 / 10 Hour Days (3) Day Weekend
A growing Cleveland, Ohio Manufacturing Firm seeks experienced CNC Swiss Machinists. Candidate must know how to read blueprints / work instructions, set-up, load and edit CNC programs, and operate CNC machines to mill, drill, ream, and tap parts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must have a High School Diploma, GED, or Higher Level of Education with a minimum of (1 to
2) years of experience setting-up and operating a Swiss CNC machine. - Candidate must be able to read and understand blueprints to include both written and verbal work instructions.
- Candidate is required to download CNC programs from the network server, edit programs as required, selects and loads tooling, installs fixtures, and sets reference points for programs. Make adjustments to meet part specifications.
- Candidate is required to inspect and measure machined parts using a variety of gauges from calipers, micrometers, thread gages, depth micrometers, surface plate with height gage, and other equipment.
- Candidate must be capable of performing basic math calculations such as decimal/fraction conversions and reading measuring tools.
