SALES ESTIMATOR SHEET METAL FABRICATION PROJECTS

• Prior skills & experience necessary
• Sales Experience - Phone or general sales experience
• Prior Manufacturing experience
• Fabrication of metals experience
• Good with math experience and blueprint readings
• Prior sheet metal fabrication & estimating background
• Prior experience in estimating projected costs for a production project
• Ability to quote costs for a project & deal with clients looking for the estimation of various short-term production of prototype projects involving Sheet metal fabrication
• Utilizing sheet metal flat sheets in forming & manufacturing various projects, calculating cost projection & profit margins accurately
• Knowledgeable of Sheet metal Fabrication tools in the Sheet metal Fabrication field
• Team player able to work with Engineering & Purchasing and principals in the company in a team effort.

The successful candidate we seek has prior experience, preferably working in a sheet metal fabrication/production environment. The incumbent has been working, taking on customers who seek short-term manufacturing projects utilizing Sheet metal fabrication in the development of short-run prototype projects utilizing Sheet metal in the fabrication of different types of metal enclosures or related types of projects, from commercial to military, and other types of prototypes or upgrading of present products utilizing Sheet metal production.

The incumbent has been a sales estimator working with clients and engineering in the securing of new projects and getting accurate cost projections that involve projecting accurate quotes and profit margins to make the project successful and bring them in within cost projections and company profit margins on time within the budget projected for the successful manufacturing for the client and our company profit margins.

The successful candidate has at least two 3+ years of experience demonstrating his or her ability to work with the customer as well as lead the total team effort to success, demonstrating the ability to bring projects in time and on budget, with successful profit margins.
