We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our high-volume metal stamping operations. This role is critical to ensuring our presses, automation systems, and facility equipment run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Pay Range: $27.04-$33.90
Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on:
- Mechanical stamping presses
- Feed lines, coil handling equipment, conveyors, and transfer systems
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Industrial electrical systems up to 480V
- Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Perform machine rebuilds, alignments, and component replacements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and equipment reliability.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and plant policies.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in metal stamping or heavy manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in:
- Press repair
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical drives
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
