Warehouse Material Handler

Job Description

This position will support the USA Insulation brand at our Cleveland, Ohio facility. The role involves safely producing chemical products that meet quality specifications, mixing and blending liquid components to produce proprietary foam insulation, and supporting all facets of running a manufacturing facility including shipping and receiving, inventory management, safety, and housekeeping.

• Assist in meeting production schedule goals by completing delegated assignments.
• Deliver raw materials to the manufacturing process, pre‑weighing and blending materials according to batch guidelines, and using a tow motor to move raw materials to the process.
• Work with Production Leadership to train on batch production, adding chemicals at specified weights and times, and verifying batch status with a pH meter.
• Follow all quality policies, operating instructions, and production procedures to ensure a quality product.
• Monitor batch process to observe quality, meet standard batch ticket cycle times, and maintain safety and quality.
• Take appropriate action—such as shutting down the process—to prevent safety or quality issues and communicate to supervisor if a goal or deadline may not be met.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished goods, including pallets, drums, jugs, boxes, and related equipment and supplies.
• Package and ship all finished goods, receive raw materials, store them in the warehouse, and manage associated paperwork.
• Support plant/facility and building maintenance, including equipment upkeep, preventative maintenance, cleaning of manufacturing equipment, and floor maintenance with a powered floor scrubber.
• Fulfill all outgoing finished‑goods orders, unload drum trucks, and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Strive for continuous improvement by sharing innovative ideas for safety, quality, and efficiency improvements with department members.

Pay Range: $19–$23 an hour (DOE).
