CNC Lathe Machinists - Second​/Third Shifts

Job Description

An established manufacturing company is seeking CNC Lathe Machinists to operate their CNC Swiss Machines or Hydromat Machines, gage parts, change tools, make offsets as needed, prepare raw material, and keep the area clean. They are looking to fill openings on both second and third shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment
• Check parts off machine to ensure they comply with print specifications
• Move material to equipment when needed
• Perform daily maintenance activities
• Work with office, support departments, and clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 2 years of CNC Lathe/Turning experience
• Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and trigonometry is a plus
• Must be able to read non-digital micrometers and blueprints
• Must be detail oriented in order to ensure parts meet print specifications
• Must have good communication skills, be cooperative, and a team player
• Must have the ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Must be comfortable with occasional standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
