Job Description

American Iron and Metal is currently recruiting for a Skid Steer Operator - 2nd Shift for our location in Cleveland, OH. The qualified candidate is responsible for the handling of materials while operating a skid steer.

What you’re responsible for
  • You will be offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using a skid steer, and utilizing other heavy equipment.
  • You will be operating forklift, skid steer, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • You will be responsible for some general labor duties.
  • You are responsible for accurately filling orders from pick lists or sales orders and preparing shipments of finished parts.
  • You must have exceptional attention to detail.
  • You must have effective communication skills and be able to work with multiple departments.
Qualifications

To join our team:

  • Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
  • Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with WHMIS.
  • Education Required:

    HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Steel experience is a plus.
  • 2 years Skid Steer experience.
