This is a full‑time, on‑site Manufacturing Manager role based in the Greater Cleveland area. The Manufacturing Manager oversees day‑to‑day production activities, ensuring schedules are met, resources are allocated effectively, and safety standards are maintained. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating production runs, monitoring workflow, and optimizing equipment utilization to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets. The role manages and develops production teams, supports training, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
The Manufacturing Manager collaborates closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve issues, implement process improvements, and support new product introductions.
- Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to coordinate schedules, capacity, and resources.
- Demonstrated experience in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management to lead day‑to‑day plant activities and drive efficiency.
- Proficiency in Quality Control practices to maintain product standards, reduce defects, and support compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and develop diverse production teams, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with manufacturing software, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in equipment, machinery, or related industrial production.
