Job Description

They develop and lead a high performing team, that delivers certainty into production through maintained workmanship standards and sustained feedback and training. Scrap, MRB, non-conformance, and in-process correction is monitored. Trends are reported. Problem areas are targeted and appropriate action is taken to ensure production goals are met. Risk to customer, product, schedule, or supply chain are escalated into Quality and Operations leadership.

Customer complaints, corrective actions, improvement opportunities, and complex problem-solving activities are lead. Quality standards and processes are standardized across Value Streams.

• Minimum of 3 years quality experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Automotive or aerospace background strongly preferred
• Technical skill is a priority (leadership can be developed)

• Acts as a subject matter expert and technical lead for complex issues, training QEs, technicians, and other stakeholders
• Oversees 5 direct reports of QEs (each oversee ~10-12 technicians)
• Drive prioritization across value stream by identifying top contributors to scrap and non-performance / downtime
  • 4 value streams in B5: shell manufacturing, commercial finishing, and 2 DOW product lines
• Lead Tier 1 & 2 reporting and support Tier 3 escalations
