Overview
Role:
Manufacturing Engineer —
Location:
Cleveland, Ohio
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for metal and thermoformed products.
- Support new product introduction with workflows, tooling, and documentation.
- Lead process/equipment/tooling validation and drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain work instructions, standards, and process documentation.
- Identify new technologies to improve production efficiency.
- Train production staff on new processes and best practices.
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (or related).
- 5+ years in manufacturing engineering (medical devices/precision manufacturing preferred).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process design, and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on with CNC machining, metal forming, plastics/thermoforming.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, and quality systems.
- CAD and ERP/MRP proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
