Novagard Solutions is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Chemical Mixer Operator to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring high‑quality batch production while maintaining strict safety, quality, and procedural standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions precisely, and is motivated to grow within the company.
Completed mixes are stored in totes until scheduled for packaging on the production line.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Coordinate, verify, and prepare raw materials required for daily batch mixes
- Accurately read, understand, and follow work orders, batch instructions, and schedules
- Execute mixing processes according to established formulations and procedures
- Perform in‑process testing to ensure product quality and material conformance
- Complete all labeling and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct visual inspections of mixing equipment before, during, and after use
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support continuous production flow
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and operational procedures at all times
- Demonstrate accountability, consistency, and attention to detail in every task
- Independently operate and understand at least one formulation or mixing process
- Utilize ERP systems for material tracking and production (Net Suite preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures without exception
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions exactly as provided
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn, improve skills, and grow within the organization
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Good math skills and basic measurement capability
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior manufacturing experience required
- Prior batch mixing or chemical processing experience preferred
- Basic ERP system knowledge preferred
