Position:
Production Technician

This position is responsible for a variety of manufacturing or distribution‑based tasks as well as driving and delivering products to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This position may include assembling and manufacturing sales orders, picking products from the warehouse, shipping and receiving.

• Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures

• Delivers products to customers and responsible for returning all completed delivery paperwork to the branch in a timely and accurate manner

• Assembles products to company, customer and manufacturer's standards

• Performs all product testing to quality standards as required by the customer and per company work instruction

• Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse.

• Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for delivery or shipping

• Operates mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (if applicable)

• Assists with physical inventory

• Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements

• Perform other duties as trained and qualified for

• Applicants should possess the ability to interact with team members in a professional manner

• Must have good communication skills

• Requires basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure

• Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools

• Basic computer skills preferred, including email and internet

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• 1‑3 years of related warehousing or production experience

• A high school diploma or GED

• Reliable transportation is a must

• Ability to safely drive a Company truck or other mechanical equipment

• Ability to work nights and weekends, as required

• Ability to work overtime, as required

• Background checks and drug screening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirements in working on‑site and operating equipment as required or permitted by law)

• Industrial setting experience

• B2B Delivery experience desired

This position includes a mix ofwarehouseand customer site environments.

These environmentsmay involve exposure to a range of environmental conditionsincludingfluctuating temperatures (both hot and cold), varying noise levels, exposure to dust, and other typical elements of an active industrial environment.
