Production Technician

Overview

Production Technician – Cleveland, OH – Full Time, Non-Exempt.

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Deliver products to customers and return all completed delivery paperwork to the branch promptly and accurately.
• Assemble products in accordance with company, customer and manufacturer standards.
• Perform product testing to meet quality standards required by the customer and company work instructions.
• Receive incoming shipments into inventory, post them in the online system, and place items in the warehouse.
• Pick products in the warehouse and prepare items for delivery or shipping.
• Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts and picking lifts (where applicable).
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Make recommendations to management regarding product and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as trained and qualified.

• Interact professionally with team members.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with units of measure.
• Basic mechanical skills, including use of hand tools.
• Basic computer skills preferred (email, internet).

• 21 years of age or older.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1–3 years of related warehousing or production experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely drive a company truck or other mechanical equipment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required.

• Industrial setting experience.
• B2B delivery experience.

• Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs independently.
• Heavy items may be moved with team assistance or mechanical aid.
• Move freely throughout the job site, including on uneven surfaces.
• Work in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Work at varying work‑surface levels and machine operation heights.
• Move above or below workstations or retrieve items from various heights.
• Ascend and descend ladders or stairs as required.
• Follow instructions, safety procedures, and read documents such as safety rules and inventory sheets.
• Count, measure, and record data accurately.
• Respond to safety signals, alarms, and verbal instructions.
• Inspect products and materials for defects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Use mechanical equipment and tools safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (training and certification may be required).
• Enter and exit a service vehicle and other mechanical equipment multiple times per day.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, steel‑toed footwear, hearing protection, or hard hats, depending on the task or site conditions.
